- Psalms 51:10 ~ "Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me."
- Psalms 119:9 ~ "How can a young woman keep her ways pure? By living according to your word."
- Matthew 5:8 ~ "Blessed are the pure in heart for they will see God."
The Greek word KATHAROS means...PURE ~That which is clean, free from containing corrupt substance, untainted.
I then went to the dictionary and looked up the meanings of some words...
Untainted~ Upright, Virtuous, above suspicion, honest, unblemished, uncorrupt.
Uncorrupt ~ Innocent, holy, faithful, blessed, clean, devoted, righteous, sanctified.
To be Corrupt is to be false, untrustworthy, to lower morally, tainted.
Pure~ genuine, authentic, transparent, refined, unsoiled, wholesome, modest, virtuous, undiluted, lily white

Undiluted~ Concentrated, Strong, Unblended
Here is an interesting side note... I found a what Undiluted meant in a Chemistry term as well. This is what I found:
To dilute a solution is to make that solution's quality, strength, and purity less.
So, to dilute our lives (our bodies, minds, et cetera) which is by the way the temple of our dear Lord and Savior {1 Cor. 6:19} is to make our strength less in Him, to make our quality of purity less! "Therefore, I urge you, sisters, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God ~ this is your spiritual act of worship. Do NOT conform any longer to this world, but be transformed by the renewing (the undliuting) of your mind. Then you will be to test and approve what God's will is ~ His good, pleasing and perfect will." {Romans 12:1-2}
Lilly White ~ Untouched and separating ones self from corruption and imperfection.
Purehearted~ (yes, that was a word.) A purehearted person is without malice, treachery, or evil intent. Who is honest, sincere, straight forward, frank, and transparent.
Let's look at the scripture verse again with a different light...
- Psalms 51:10 ~ "Create in me a {virtuous, innocent, devoted, undiluted} heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me."
- Psalms 119:9 ~ "How can a young woman keep her ways {Unblended, Sanctified, Lily White, Genuine, and Above Suspicion}? By living according to your word."
- Matthew 5:8 ~ "Blessed are the {Uncorupt, Unsoiled, Honest, Transparent, Untouched from Corruption and Imperfection}, in heart for they will see God."
