Psalms 23 may be one of the most popular Psalms in the bible and because of that I tended to look over it but as I begain to look closer the Lord revealed an overflow of revelation I just had to share!

  • To be comforted by His rod and staff means to delight in God's discipline.

  1. That is so true Brooke! Not many people see that, but delighting in God's discipline bring wisdom. I think that is my fav verse in Psalm 23. That psalm was written during the time that David was fleeing King Saul, yet you still see the shepherd in David come out. I LOVE that! :) He "shall not want." It just shows more that God is to be our all in all. To be content in the Lord and to have that much faith is something I am always going to strive for!
