GO

The LORD commands us to GO. GO into all the earth and preach the Good news. So, why do we live our life's the way we do? Why do we except a mediocre christian life? Why is it that we think "Oh, someone else will do that..." I know I am guilty of saying and thinking that. The reason why...we want Christianity on our own terms. We want the benefits of the Cross without the sacrifice of our flesh. "The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak..." I was thinking about it. I have known this for a long time...but during the SET APART girl conference I finally HEARD it...my heart heard it. I am not my own. When I accepted Christ as my Savior and He died on the Cross for me. I became HIS. HE suffered. HE paid the price for my sins. I didn't pay the price. In fact I live this life completely around myself. Sure I help other people and I give. But in comparison....WOW. It is such a little sacrifice of wholly and completely giving my life to Him. ...yet....it is hard too. at the conference I heard this quote: "May the Lamb that was slain receive the reward for His suffering..." Thank you Jesus. Thank you for dieing for my sins. Give me the strength to deny myself (deny my flesh)and pick up my cross and follow You. No matter what the cost. Thank You.
